Delete your account — in the app
Open SYVT and tap Settings (for parents) at the foot of the start screen. At the bottom of that page, hold Danger zone for a second to open it, choose Delete account, and confirm it: with your password, or with Google if the account signs in with Google. The sign-in and everything backed up under it leave our servers immediately.
The players themselves stay on the device, so nobody loses their name or their face; they are simply no longer backed up. To remove them from the device as well, delete each player as below, or uninstall the app.
Deleting your account does not cancel a SYVT+ subscription, and does not undo a purchase: Google Play handles billing separately. Cancel a subscription first under Google Play subscriptions.
Delete all statistics
In the same danger zone, Delete all statistics wipes the games played, the points, the best scores and the days each star chain is counted from, for every player on the device, and in the account if one is signed in. Names, avatars, worlds and settings, the weekly goal of stars among them, stay as they are.
Delete one player
Open that player in SYVT and choose Delete this player, then confirm. Their nickname, avatar, scores, days played and settings leave the device immediately, and if you are signed in they are removed from your account and from every other device signed in to it.
If you have never signed in, this is the only deletion there is to make: without an account, nothing about your players ever left the device, and we hold nothing to delete.
Delete everything on a device
Uninstalling SYVT removes the device's copy of everything — all players, scores and settings, and the recordings of words it has downloaded.
If you cannot open the app: by email
- Write to hi@SYVT.me from the email address the account uses.
- Use the subject line
DELETE ACCOUNT. - By default, every account held under your email address for apps published by A51 will be deleted — mention SYVT in the message if you want only this game's data removed.
What happens next
- Everything done in the app takes effect immediately. Emailed requests are carried out within 5 business days.
- Deleting the account removes the sign-in record (the email address, and the stored password hash or the link to the Google account) and the account's document with every player under it.
- Deletion is permanent: nicknames, avatars, scores and settings cannot be recovered.
- Residual copies in operational backups are purged within up to 365 days.
